Annesley Gandon

Supported by:

Annesley Gandon are delighted to be able to support a fantastic charity, ‘Something To Look Forward To’, which was set up by a couple from Cambridge, in 2015, following a terminal breast cancer diagnosis.

The charity supports people affected by cancer and cancer poverty by providing gifts and experiences donated by individuals and companies.

We are looking for businesses who would be willing to donate a gift or experience which would go directly to a couple or family affected by cancer poverty to give them ‘Something to Look Forward To’.

Free Gifts & Experiences for People Affected by Cancer Poverty

At Something To Look Forward To (STLFT), we believe that everyone facing cancer deserves more than medical support — they deserve hope, respite and moments to simply be themselves again.

That’s why, thanks to the generosity of businesses and individuals across the UK, we offer a variety of donated gifts and experiences to people living with cancer and their loved ones. We deliver a broad range of support, including but not limited to:

  • Restaurant meals and hospitality — meals out, café visits, food vouchers, special dining experiences
  • Hotel and short-break stays — boutique hotels, B&Bs, overnight stays when a quiet night away can make a world of difference
  • Spa, wellbeing and therapy experiences — massages, complementary therapies, wellness breaks to support physical and mental recovery
  • Leisure, entertainment & family outings — cinema or theatre tickets, attraction passes, days out, and family-friendly fun
  • Afternoon teas, home comforts and small-scale treats — a little indulgence or comfort during a difficult time, when it’s most needed

Whether it’s a restorative spa break, a family day out, a nourishing dinner or a quiet night away, each gift is given to provide respite, dignity and hope — helping people with cancer, their carers and their families reconnect, rejuvenate, and enjoy moments of normality and joy.

The afternoon, night and morning with just my husband was just the peace and quiet I needed. No blood pressure checks; no constant asking am I ok. It was a needed change of scenery and my new ‘normal’ routine.

How Our Gift System Works

STLFT offers a transparent and fair system, prioritising those most in need:

  • Main gifts — typically higher-value experiences like hotel stays or short breaks; eligible individuals may receive one main gift per year.
  • Additional gifts — smaller but still meaningful experiences such as meals out or spa visits; eligible for up to two per year.
  • Extra gifts — smaller or one-off treats (tickets, vouchers, home comforts), available on an ongoing basis (subject to availability).

All gifts are kindly donated by our network of partner businesses and people affected by cancer go through a stringent application process where we verify their eligibility for our service.
