The charity is aligned with appropriate clinical, statutory, and voluntary agencies including hospitals; hospices; support centres and charities to assess eligibility and facilitate a referral process. This also ensures that gifts donated reach those most in need.

The Proud Store offers cancer related merchandise, and ‘emotional resiliency’ workshops. Their mission is break down the unhelpful rhetoric that cancer patients should ‘think positively’ and change the way we speak about it.

In November 2018, Vicky was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. As a result they regularly donate nights away to Cancer charities, plus we offer a permanent discount to NHS and Care home/hospice staff. Vicky is the founder of True Cancer Bodies, and they have just recently become patrons of the charity ‘Something To Look Forward To’

We also liaise with the Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service across the UK. We work with the cancer specialists and volunteers to engage with people affected by cancer and provide gifts where possible.
