Please note: Travel to and from the château is the responsibility of the recipient. The most convenient flights are typically from London Stansted to Lourdes, and a car is essential for your stay.
Before applying, please ensure you are able to obtain suitable travel insurance for this trip. If you are allocated the break, you will be asked to provide evidence of your travel insurance before your booking is confirmed.
Please also note that if five guests are staying, the fifth guest will sleep on a sofa bed.
There is some flexibility with the dates of this stay. The arrival date can be moved by up to two days either side of 11th September, subject to agreement with the host.
Nestled within its own vineyards, this elegant 19th-century château has been beautifully restored by its English owners. With breathtaking views across the Pyrenees and 11 hectares of gardens, woodland and vineyards to explore, it offers a peaceful and unforgettable escape in the French countryside.
The guest accommodation is located within the family’s home, and your stay will be looked after by the Housekeeper.
During your stay, you’ll have access to the beautiful gardens and outdoor swimming pool, along with a pantry equipped with a fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities. Please note that there is no access to the main kitchen.
This is a tranquil family home rather than a hotel, making it the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
