Four guests are welcome at this bright and contemporary property set back from the beach at Woolacombe. With all the attractions of Exmoor National Park just 13 miles away and the popular seaside town of Ilfracombe close by (6 miles), Woolacombe is the ideal holiday destination. Its wonderful 3-mile stretch of sandy coastline has lifeguards on duty in summer, making it one of the safest places in Devon for swimming and surfing. During the holiday season, the village centre has a lively atmosphere, with lots of cafes, pubs and restaurants to try.
This lovely property makes a very comfortable base for two couples or a family of four. The entrance leads directly into the bright living room where French windows offer a breathtaking vista of the sea and countryside. A couple of steps lead up to the light-filled kitchen/diner, where stairs lead up to the first floor. The spacious master bedroom has a super-king-size bed and spectacular sea views. Bedroom 2 is a twin and both bedrooms have TVs. There’s a shower room with two washbasins and a WC.
At the property’s rear is a small garden with storage and cleaning facilities for surfboards and cycles. At the front, a wonderful patio with seating makes the ideal place for lazy breakfasts or watching the sunset over the sea.
Guests need to be aware that the driveway is steep and that the local fireworks display is a short distance opposite the property on 5 November.
