Other Information

Nestled in the heart of the charming village of Carhampton, 3 Elm Cottage offers a welcoming retreat between Somerset’s countryside and coastline. This white-washed terraced home provides an ideal base for families or friends looking to explore the area’s rich history, scenic walks, and nearby beaches. No matter how you spend your days, 3 Elm Cottage offers a cosy and characterful haven to return to after your adventures.

Step inside to find a well-equipped kitchen/diner, perfect for enjoying morning coffee at the rustic breakfast bar or gathering for meals. The inviting sitting room offers ample seating, making it an ideal space to relax together. For a more formal dining experience, the tables can be combined to comfortably seat six. When it’s time to rest, choose from three beautifully styled bedrooms, a double with an en-suite, a king-size, and another double, all featuring a mix of contemporary and vintage touches.

Outside, the multi-level garden provides a peaceful escape, whether you’re unwinding with a book or gathering around the fire pit on a summer evening.

Carhampton gives you easy access to Exmoor’s stunning landscapes and a great local village pub. A short walk takes you through the deer park toward historic Dunster Castle, while Blue Anchor Beach is just two miles away, offering the chance to spot a nostalgic steam train at the station. Nearby, Minehead’s sandy shores and the picturesque landscapes of Lorna Doone country await exploration.

You will find designated parking for one car and roadside parking on a first-come first-served basis. There is a secure storage area for bikes. A cot and high chair is available upon request. Note that the cot is without a mattress. The stairs leading up are steep, which might be difficult for some to navigate.
