Beautifully renovated, well equipped cottage, ideal for a couple’s getaway on small holding.
Well located property for walks, gastro-pubs and country towns. Carsington Water and Kedleston Hall just 10mins away.
The characterful property has exposed beams with an open plan living and dining area and small separate, well equipped kitchen.
Outside is a shared courtyard seating area to enjoy the morning sun and fenced garden for the afternoon sun and sunset.
Nearby village has a pub & farm shop.
The space
With a door on each side of the property, your access and view to outdoors is easy. The open plan living-dining area has a high ceiling with exposed beams for an airy, spacious feel. Dining table seats 4, so there is plenty of space to spread out.
The bedroom is cosy with a comfortable king size bed and en-suite shower room. The water pressure is excellent so your shower will feel luxurious.
Guest access
Guests have the cottage to themselves; your own parking space and hosts will explain where you can go for a walk around the 20+ acres.
Other things to note
There are 3 pet pigs (George, Percy and Isla), who very much enjoy a visit, especially if you give them your vegetable peelings etc.
