We are delighted to be working with Classic British Hotels whose fantastic collection of hotels have donated wonderful experiences to the cancer community including overnight stays with dinner and Afternoon Tea. It’s wonderful to work with a business who shares our ethos of wishing to support people at a time its needed most to give ‘Something To Look Forward To’.
We are thrilled to be working with Nelson Hotels, who have partnered with us in 2024 to provide people affected by cancer an opportunity of a range of fantastic experiences from Afternoon Tea for Two, overnight stays and dining experiences supporting our project in the North of England. With gorgeous venues in Cheshire and beyond, we are very excited at this wonderful partnership and are grateful for the thoughtfulness in experiences and care the business has demonstrated.
Since 2022 The Cambridge Literary Festival have supported ‘Something To Look Forward To’ with admission tickets at both the Spring and Winter Literary Festivals in the city for people affected by cancer and cancer poverty. We are delighted to be supported again this year with tickets to the wonderful Cambridge Literary Spring Festival 2024. Feedback from beneficiaries has been phenomenal and we are so grateful for this wonderful organisation’s support.
The Inn Collection Group have been supporting STLFT since 2023 and provide regular two night breaks in their fantastic venues, located in stunning spots throughout the North of England and Wales. These wonderful experiences have allowed couples and families the opportunity to recharge and relax, whilst having opportunity to create positive memories at a time they need it most. The feedback we have received from beneficiaries has been amazing and the care and attention each venue has provided has been second to none. A true pleasure to work with.
City Pub Group has supported ‘Something To Look Forward To’ since its inception and the relationship has steadily grown from the beginning when one of the venues was Fiona and Andy’s local! We are so grateful to all they have done for the charity from fundraising, to hosting charity events, as well as incredible support by way of donating regular monthly meals out in venues throughout Cambridgeshire and Norfolk to couples affected by cancer. We love partnering with this wonderful business and appreciate all the support they have given to us.

At an Oakman Inn you can enjoy the great food and drink catching up with family, friends, neighbours and colleagues whilst appreciating the contemporary spaces which have a strong sense of identity and integration within the local communities they serve.
‘Something To Look Forward To’ have partnered with Fishers Farm Park over many years, including regular family admission tickets, giving families affected by cancer a fun-packed day out and an opportunity to step outside of the world of cancer to create some positive memories. This award-winning, family run fun park, who offer a huge selection of indoor soft play, farm animals and exciting rides, understands the importance of creating special family days out, and we are truly grateful to them for giving our families this special time together.
The Chestnut Group (with The Giving Tree) are regularly donating amazing overnight stays of Dinner, Bed & Breakfast to us across their group, for couples affected by cancer. Deeply rooted in East Anglia, each stunning venue is unique to its surroundings reflecting its people, produce and personality. Focusing on small details that make the difference, quality in all they do is the focus and one which our guests will be sure to enjoy.
As gardeners ourselves, the STLFT team know only too well the true value nature, growing and gardening have on wellbeing. Which is why we are thrilled to be partnering with the renowned Chiltern Seeds who have regularly sent seed bundles for us to share with the cancer community. This year we gratefully received packets of Sweet Pea ‘Memories’ which we are sure people will enjoy.
Cambscuisine have provided outstanding support to the charity by way of funding and with regular meals out and stays across their six-award winning unique pubs and restaurants. Their values and culture contribute to strong community support, and we are so grateful to the business for all the support they have given to us in providing amazing experiences for people affected by cancer.
Quest Personal Care Global are on a never-ending Quest to drive beauty forward and they are doing just that by partnering with our charity. Quest provide regular beauty & personal care products which we distribute to those who are struggling to provide the essentials as a result of cancer poverty. Quest also help raise vital funds for our charity by holding quizzes and raffles with their employees.
Whitecalm have supported us by donating annual memberships for people affected by cancer. This online platform offers 120+ live streamed and on demand classes a month including fitness, yoga, meditation, nutrition, essential oils, hair, skin and more. We are so grateful that Whitecalm Virtual are supporting our beneficiary’s wellbeing with this amazing gift.
Palm Chester are Chester’s most fashionable independent food and drink location. Palm is impossible to miss – just look out for the pink bar on Watergate Street. With an extravagant window display and elegant flower wall inside, we are very fortunate to have their regular donation of afternoon for 2 every month!

Amongst the many ways Bird & Blend have supported us are with an Instagram takeover on World Cancer Day (4th February), hosting Tea Mornings in stores on this date to raise additional funds, to the kind donation of 20 Tea Blending & Tasting Workshop places, along with a variety of teas to be added to wellness boxes and bundles – and by the giving the profits of our chosen tea – The Digester.

In November 2018, Vicky was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. As a result they regularly donate nights away to Cancer charities, plus we offer a permanent discount to NHS and Care home/hospice staff. Vicky is the founder of True Cancer Bodies, and they have just recently become patrons of the charity ‘Something To Look Forward To’
Working In Partnership With:
The charity is aligned with appropriate clinical, statutory, and voluntary agencies including hospitals; hospices; support centres and charities to assess eligibility and facilitate a referral process. This also ensures that gifts donated reach those most in need.
We work in partnership with a variety of organisations and work together to provide a service for people and families affected by cancer.
