We have been gifted a 3-night break in an individually converted, fully equipped and camping ready Land Rover Defender from our friends at LandyCampers! The Landys will take you off the beaten track and have everything on board you need for your trip. From roof tent to kettle: all your basics are taken care of, all you have to do is enjoy the drive, find your favourite spot, pop-up the tent, roll out the awning and enjoy the view!

The ‘Fern’ Defender 110 (suitable for up to 4 people depending on combination of adults and children). Thanks to the roof tents and smart storage solutions you will set-up camp in minutes. With fully comprehensive insurance, 24/7 breakdown assistance and 125 miles/day allowance ensure that nothing stops you on your way!

*Pick up and return for this experience is nr Dunmow in Essex.

*Experience is subject to availability and to be arranged between donor and beneficiary.

* Driver needs to be 25+ and fulfil the rental criteria.

*Full kit list is included, tents, camping gear, sleeping bags/duvets.

*A £750 security deposit (credit card) from an account in the name of the main driver on the trip will be required on pickup of the vehicle.

*THE EXPERIENCE IS FOR VEHICLE USE ONLY,  beneficiaries will be expected to find and pay for their own campsite pitch. With more than 4,000 campsites in the UK from solitary wild forests and farmer’s fields to fully equipped luxurious sites with pools and restaurants, there are links to directories of campsites on the website to help you find the right pitch. Unlike in Scotland, where wild camping is allowed almost anywhere, it is generally illegal in England and Wales. Please seek permission from landowners to avoid trespassing.
