Otterton is a pretty village in one of Devon’s most beautiful coastal valleys between the stylish Regency town of Sidmouth and the Victorian resort of Budleigh Salterton.
Everything here has been carefully chosen, in the comfortable lounge there is a wood burning stove and the smart kitchen/diner which has a tiled floor and wooden table and chairs overlooks the garden.
A wooden spiral staircase leads to two very pretty bedrooms, a double with views over the garden towards the hills beyond and a second smaller bedroom at the front of the cottage.
The sheltered garden is enclosed and laid to lawn with a small patio area, table and chairs.
The beach at Ladram Bay is only half a mile away, here pale grey shingle contrasts against the deep, rich, red cliffs and you can join the South Devon Coast Path.
