‘Off the Rails’ at Plockton Station is described as calm, peaceful and with a lovely feel and nestles above the pretty village of Plockton, just a one mile walk to the centre of the village, which offers local restaurants and amenities. Plockton is a working station in which the accommodation is situated. It sits on the Inverness to Kyle line which is known for it’s stunning scenery. The station building ‘Off the Rails’ has been tastefully refurbished to preserve the Victorian features whilst combining modern technology such as wireless broadband, DVD players etc.
The unique accommodation features the old station ticket office which is now the lounge with a sofa-bed and a lovely Victorian open hearth fire, sleeping accommodation is by way of the former ‘Ladies Waiting Room’ converted to a king-size bedroom, ‘The Station Masters Office’ which can provide flexible sleeping as either a king-size bed or two singles.
All linen and towels provided.
1 dog is allowed by arrangement, must have their own bed and keep off soft furnishings.
Wheelchair accessible including wet room, but please check the requirements with the owner. A ramp to access the property can be provided.
