Nestled in the serene countryside of the Scottish Borders, seven miles south of Hawick, Shankend Holiday Cottage offers a tranquil escape for up to six guests. With its stunning surroundings and a private loch perfect for fishing, this wonderful cottage provides the ideal setting to relax, unwind, and connect with nature.
Shankend Cottage occupies the north wing of a grand Edwardian former hunting lodge, surrounded by 100 acres of picturesque grounds. Whether you’re a walker, cyclist, runner, wild swimmer, fly fisher or simply a lover of the outdoors, this three-bedroom retreat promises comfort and adventure year-round.
We are delighted to be offering a week’s break in this beautiful cottage in the most stunning of locations.
Arrive Saturday 4pm leaving following Saturday by 10am.
Please note the cottage is situated by a large open pond and that the accommodation sits on a site with livestock in the adjoining fields.
