Once the main stop off for weary stagecoach travellers, The Black Swan in Helmsley dates back to the 15th century. With an Elizabethan building on one end, a Tudor one to the other and a Georgian House in the middle, The Black Swan has lots of character, offers bags of history and character alongside a modern twist.

With its inviting open fires, cosy armchairs and warm welcome, The Black Swan a relaxing place to be, as you explore beautiful Helmsley and nearby attractions including Rievaulx Abbey, Helmsley Castle and Helmsley Walled Garden.
