We are delighted to be offering a 1 hour oncology massage courtesy of Amy Lambley ISRM – Soft Tissue Therapy. Appointments to include welcome/consultation (a consultation form will be sent via email in advance where possible so your therapist has prior knowledge of medical history and current status. This also allows your oncology team to be consulted to ensure massage is appropriately timed for each individual who is currently in treatment).

An individualised massage session aimed at meeting the wellbeing needs on the individual and where appropriate, self-care advice for homecare will be offered.
Amy is also a Restore Scar Therapy Practitioner. Therefore, clients experiencing unfavourable symptoms of problematic scarring following surgery or radiotherapy may raise this as a concern for attention during the session.

Appointments available Mon-Fri. Clients with concerns for a compromised immune system are recommended to request appointments 1st thing in morning as first client of the day but can be confident that Amy Lambley ensures thorough hygiene protocols between clients as standard. Clients may also request the use of PPE for their peace of mind after any time.

‘I am pleased to now extend my gift offer to include manual lymphatic drainage as a choice should this be the most appropriate option for the recipient of each gift. I offer the FG-MLD/’fill & flush’ method as taught by the Lymphoedema Training Academy to assist clients in the management of Lymphoedema, which may be a secondary consequence of surgery and/or cancer treatments such as radiotherapy’.
