Don’t miss your chance to hear from one of the nation’s favourite wordsmiths, Michael Rosen! The iconic author of We’re Going On A Bear Hunt joins us to reflect on his extraordinary life in writing – the highs of being Children’s Laureate alongside the lows of grief and illness.
Michael will also introduce his latest book, Rosen’s Almanac: a joyful journey through a year of weird words and fantastic phrases, taking us on a tour of Britain and its wild vernacular idiosyncrasies.
Words are the beginning of our stories: portals to treasured memories, to the strange sayings that seem to be unique to our own families and the beloved people that say them to us. This is a delightful book for anyone who loves language – whether following its rules or breaking them!
